NDIS

Inhousing is a registered provider of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians living with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. Their priority is to ensure people living with disability continue to get the support they need.

One of the supports that may be funded for some NDIS participants is Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). SDA refers to accommodation for people who require specialist housing solutions, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. Funding is only provided to NDIS participants who meet specific eligibility criteria.

NDIS also funds housing modifications and inclusive technology through individual’s plans.
