At inhousing, we believe that the best homes are designed in partnership with the people who will live in them. For Hanna, who is about to return to her long-time neighbourhood, this collaborative approach has made all the difference. Hanna lived in her previous home for 22 years, but as time passed, it became clear the house no longer met her needs. When inhousing identified the site for redevelopment, Hanna was fully involved in designing her new home from the start.
Six years ago, Craig Sparre's life looked very different. Before 2018, Craig lived in a group home where his independence was limited and his everyday activities were largely chosen for him. A pivotal change came when he secured approval for specialist disability accommodation (SDA) in his NDIS plan, with the help of his support coordinator and the inhousing team.
