Proposed changes to how NDIS thinks about home and living
NDIS are developing a new Home and Living policy that will inform the way they support NDIS participants to pursue their home and living goals. NDIS want to give participants more choice and control over where they live, who they live with and the supports they use. We also want to support participants to build the skills they need to live independently.

Information for people living with disability about COVID -19 vaccines
People with disability and disability workers are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Some people with disability are at greater risk of becoming very sick if they catch COVID-19. The Australian Government has put in place a range of options to assist people to access and be informed about the vaccine process.

Our Salisbury Solar Battery Project with Natural Solar
Everyone is talking about the renewable energy technology on our housing development in Salisbury. In an Australian first initiative announced today, inhousing in partnership with Australia’s leading solar and battery installer Natural Solar , will be incorporating solar and battery storage into Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) designed for use by eligible participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Funding to demonstrate innovation
Inhousing was awarded Commonwealth Government Innovation Funding to design and build three fully accessible houses in Morphettville. This grant provided the opportunity to showcase great accessible design alongside the practical application of emerging inclusive technology from providers such as Apple. The aim was to assist the mobility, independence and dignity of people living with significant mobility limitations.
