  • JFA Purple Orange seeks to influence change through advocacy and policy work, and via capacity building projects with people living with disability. 
  • Julia Farr MS McLeod Benevolent Fund provides grant funding for projects that advance authentic inclusion for people living with disability

About the role

In this newly created role you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to support and mentor Julia Farr group employees, helping them continue to thrive in the work they do.

The Human Resources Business Partner will continue to improve HR practices within the organisation and be committed to supporting the development of the Julia Farr group's employment practices. You will work closely with line supports across the organisation, ensuring they are well-equipped and supported to lead diverse, high performing teams and individuals.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, your responsibilities will span from creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures and leading inclusive recruitment practices, to developing practices in workforce planning and organisational development. You will also provide quality assurance for onboarding processes while supporting the induction and probation program for all new starters.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for all employees across the organisation including line support roles, navigating workforce issues and maintaining good employment practices in line with Julia Farr group values and culture.
  • Provide leadership and support for the Human Resources Administrator.
  • Maintain HR policies and supporting procedures and resources.
  • Lead inclusive recruitment practice, providing advice and support in job design, recruitment and selection.
  • Provide quality assurance for onboarding processes, balancing compliance obligations with a positive experience for new employees.
  • Support the induction and probation program for new starters, ensuring a consistent approach that engages new employees.
  • Develop practice in workforce planning and organisational development, including individual employee development, talent management, and succession planning.
