inhousing is seeking an experienced and values led Community Housing Assets Manager to lead the management, maintenance and performance of our property portfolio. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to safe, accessible and sustainable housing for people with disability, while leading a capable team and shaping long-term asset outcomes.
This is a newly created role, which we are initially offering as a 12 month contract, but we envision this being an ongoing position for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Strategy Leader, Inclusive Housing and Technology, the Community Housing Assets Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across construction, capital works, asset renewal, maintenance, contractor management and compliance. The role oversees the delivery of asset programs, manages budgets and procurement activities, and provides high-quality advice and reporting to Senior Leaders and the Board.
This role will lead an established and experienced team that deliver new build construction projects, planed and urgent maintenance services, property renewals, and handyperson services.
You will be a confident leader with strong asset, construction or property management experience and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for people with disability. You will bring sound judgement, commercial acumen, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver complex programs in a values-led environment.
