Our Action Plans

Our Disability Action Plan

The Julia Farr group, which includes inhousing, has developed its 2025-2027 Disability Action Plan to help make sure our organisation is accessible and inclusive for all people.

The plan focuses on four areas of accessibility:

·      Physical: making our workplace and events easier to access and use

·      Procedural: removing barriers in our processes and ways of working

·      Informational: making information easier to find, understand and use.

·      Attitudinal: challenging assumptions and building a culture of inclusion

This is our first Disability Action Plan, but it builds on many years of listening, learning and working alongside people with disability.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan

We’re working towards true inclusion by centring the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.

To support this work, the Julia Farr group (of which inhousing is a part) is developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This plan shows our commitment to recognising, respecting, and celebrating the enduring connection First Nations people have to Country.

Our RAP is a strategic priority that guides us to build knowledge and grow cultural awareness. It will also help us create a culturally safe, inclusive workplace for First Nations people.

True inclusion means listening to and embedding the voices of First Nations people with disability in all we do.
